Biography

Cecilia took drawing and pastel lessons with Jean Pender in 1986 (Denton, TX). In the same year she explored drawing and papermaking courses at North Texas State University (NTSU) in Denton, TX.

She has also participated in workshops at Jalisco’s Cultural System and “Los Colomos” Cultural Center in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.

After more than two decades of teaching and developing research in communications and social sciences fields, Cecilia returns now to drawing and oil painting with new a new perspective, shaped by the delicate, fragile movement of light and shades in people, animals and everyday objects.
