Biography

Born in Italy, Patti was raised and educated in Canada.  Patti has completed a Masters Degree from the University of British Columbia which enabled her to pursue her couseling vocation in Vancouver and Vancouver Island.  Patti studied art though the Fine Art Department of North Island College and also through mentoring with a variety of established artists. Patti lives and works on Vancouver as a full time artist and winters in Mexico.  Her work is shown in a variety of Canadian cities, in California and in Mexico.   Living on an island has inspired a deep connection to nature which is reflected in her landscapes.  More recently,  the focus of painting has been the figure with an emphasis on form and colour.  The figure is explored with a variety of materials, including stone, clay, plaster, cement and metal which develop into life size sculptural pieces. Patti s art is motivated by a comitment of self reflection and a journey of life long  learning and personal growth.
